Jo-Anna has lived a life taking care of others before herself. She is a Developmental Service Worker who works with disabled and mentally challenged adults. She is also a mother to a beautiful 16 year old boy. She first met up with Lady Luck at the Sexapolooza booth a couple years back. After putting a deposit down and making a date, she chickened out. It wasn’t until last year that she felt rejuvenated and confident enough to be able to do a shoot and this was not only a birthday gift to herself but a reward to celebrate herself. Which is exactly the kind of attitude we love here at the studio! A declaration of being proud of who you are and working very hard to get there.
After leaving an abusive relationship and nearly dying from blood clots in her lungs, this brave and beautiful woman finally looked in the mirror and said “start moving instead of just existing.” She did just that. There is zero shame in asking for help to better yourself and nothing but respect for taking the necessary steps to do so. She also enrolled in school to further her education in her field and found a new relationship.
I had the pleasure of speaking with Jo-Anna on the phone to share her story and I am so proud of you for saying that although you are in a relationship, you are working on being okay by yourself and on your own. So many of feel like we need to rely on someone else for happiness but the truth of it is, it comes from within you. You need to feel good about yourself and take care of yourself in order to take care of others.
Jo-Anna came into the studio bold and fearless and ready to tell us that she is proud of who she is and what she looks like. She feels, and is, sexy and gorgeous! And you my friend, are an inspiration. It takes courage to not only bare your skin but your soul. We love that you chose Lady Luck to represent you and to tell your story. We can’t wait to have you back in the studio because you shine and radiate positivity and we need more people like you to encourage and inspire others to get up and start living the life that they deserve.
Thanks Jo-Anna for sharing your Lady Luck experience!
